[The Lock Artist] p74-87 #vana5
One important encounter was described in the chapter which I read yesterday. It was Amelia. The American football player who forgot the dial number of his locker brought Mike to a house near the city. It was a rival’s house who beat the team in Mike’s high school. He wanted to make the rival surprise by sneaking into and decorating his room. When they looked for the rival’s room, Mike found some drawings. One of them was a girl, who smiled with sad eyes. It fascinated Mike strongly. Finally, the father or somebody returned to home. Members escaped as soon as possible, but only Mike could not run away but was captured.

After having been arrested in the last chapter, he could escape when the secret service looked away for a second
. He seemed to get his home by taxi. In the next chapter, we could realize how he came to be known as
a lock artist. Mike made friends with Griffin through an art class in the high school. Both of them were good at drawing. One day, a student forgot the dial number of his locker, Griffin spoke with no offense
that Mike would be able to unlock it. Mike could not deny and has done his work…. Mike ( and others) had not learned that SOME talent can not be forgiven, at that time.

He was arrested. In my understood, at least. After the failure of the robbery at the New year's eve, the group asked Mike again to unlock the "real" safe. They returned to that house to try once more, but the security service shoot the theft group. Only Mike could escape from his death.
[The Lock Artist] p34-42 #vana5
I could not read much today. From the new chapter, we could realize how he found the existence of “ a lock” at his uncle’s house and how he fascinated it. In the next chapter, he again worked with that “not smart group”. They went to the same house again and tried to rob the real diamonds…..

In the chapter 4, he conducted the second work. Actually, he does not perpetrate the work at his own initiative
, but he is called and participated in theft groups
as a guest with a special skill. The second work seemed too easy for him and other members who did not looked smart. The last line smelled something awful
…. Watch out, Mike.
Day2 [The Lock Artist] p12-26 #vana5
I have read from the last few pages of the chapter 2 through the middle of the chapter 4. After he told us a little bit about himself, the time was back and forth by each chapter. His first experience as “the Lock artist” (…actually, it may be just a safebreaker at that time) seemed to success. From
his monologue in the process to break a safe, you can realize that he is a genius to complete the very sensitive and smart “work”. In the next chapter, you know that his parents have passed away and lived with his uncle. But you cannot find the reason why he started this job. I look forward to reading more.
Day1 [The Lock Artist] p1-11 #vana5
初めての宿題(^ ^)／ これだけだとアッサリしすぎ？
The story was started by a boy's monologue. His words were short and concise like a junior high school boy...maybe. Actually, he was not a boy but 27 or 28 year-old. It seems that time stops for him in jail. He was called "the Miracle Boy", but we don't know the reason in the first chapter (of course I know because I've read this in Japanese.)
His name is Mike, the Miracle boy, the Lock Artist. This book will describe about what happened to him and why he started his carrier as a lock artist.
